Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Priventix B.V. — governing all products and services offered at Priventix.ai.
Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, downloading, installing or using any Priventix product or service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our products.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Priventix B.V. ("Priventix", "we", "us").
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase or use Priventix products.
- You must have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.
- If purchasing on behalf of a company, you represent you have authority to bind that company.
Products and Services
3.1 Priventix AV
Priventix AV is a software application providing real-time antivirus and malware protection for Windows and macOS computers. Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the number of computers specified in your plan (1, 3 or 5 computers).
3.2 Priventix VPN
Priventix VPN provides an encrypted virtual private network service. It is made available as a 7-day trial included with your Priventix AV purchase, after which it continues as a monthly subscription at EUR/USD 19.99 per month unless cancelled. The VPN service is subject to a fair use policy.
3.3 Device Upsell
You may purchase coverage for 2 additional computers as a one-time payment of EUR/USD 14.99, available during the checkout flow. This is a permanent extension of your licence, not a subscription.
Free Trial
Included from the date of purchase. Unless cancelled before expiry, you will be automatically charged EUR/USD 19.99 per month on a recurring basis after the trial period ends.
Priventix AV itself is not provided on a free trial basis — the front-end purchase price is charged at checkout.
Pricing, Billing and Payments
5.1 Front-end purchase
5.2 Subscriptions
Priventix VPN operates as a monthly subscription at USD 19.99 per month, charged on the same date each month after the trial period. Annual rebill of Priventix AV may apply as set out in your account dashboard.
5.3 Payment processing
Payments are processed by Priventix B.V. and our Merchant of Record, Handl (wehandl.io). Priventix B.V. retains transaction records for licence management and legal compliance. Handl handles card tokenisation and payment settlement. By purchasing, you also agree to Handl's applicable terms and conditions.
5.4 Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails, we will attempt to re-process it. If payment is not received within 7 days, access to the relevant subscription product may be suspended.
5.5 Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' advance notice by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Cancellation
- You may cancel your Priventix VPN subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds are given for unused portions of a subscription month, except where required by law.
- Cancellation of the VPN subscription does not affect your Priventix AV licence.
Refund Policy
Full refund on the front-end purchase within 30 days. No refunds for VPN subscription charges after the 7-day free trial period, except where required by applicable law or consumer protection regulation.
Licence Grant and Restrictions
8.1 Grant
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Priventix software solely for your personal or internal business security purposes.
8.2 Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicence or transfer the software or your licence
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code from the software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the software to provide security services to third parties on a commercial basis
- Circumvent or disable any licence enforcement or security feature
- Use the VPN service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any third party's rights
Acceptable Use — VPN
The Priventix VPN service may not be used for:
- Any illegal activity under applicable law
- Harassment, abuse, or threatening communications
- Distribution of malware, spam, or unsolicited communications
- Copyright infringement or circumvention of geo-restrictions for prohibited purposes
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or networks
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate VPN access for violations of this acceptable use policy.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Priventix software, services, brand, and related materials are owned by Priventix B.V. or our licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. The Priventix name, logo and mark are trademarks of Priventix B.V.
Updates and Support
Active subscribers and licence holders are entitled to product updates and bug fixes during their licence period. We may update, modify or discontinue features at our discretion. Material reductions in functionality will be notified in advance.

Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Priventix software and services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from all threats. No antivirus product can guarantee detection of 100% of threats.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you have as a consumer under Dutch or EU law that cannot be excluded by contract.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Priventix B.V.'s total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or our products shall not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.
These limitations do not apply to: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded by Dutch or EU law.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of our products after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
